Fans are eagerly waiting for Shaan Shahid’s slick action thriller Zarrar for a long time. And now that the film is ready to be released in September 2022, Shaan is gradually unveiling teasers to reel in more viewers. The latest to release on social media is a song by Umair Jaswal titled Haaray.
Two days ago, a short clip was shared on Zarrar’s official YouTube channel captioned: “Presenting ‘Haaray’ by Umair Jaswal from Zarrar The Film, directed & written by Shaan Shahid.”
Fans won’t get to hear much of the song in a 18-second clip but the video shows a woman (probably Kiran Malik) in a cell. She is in a terrible condition; someone is checking up on her with a flashlight while her feet are soaking in water. Later, she is lying on the prison floor by the toilet, and in another shot, we see her through the bars crying. The promotional video only featured a dialogue by Shaan: “I swear by this country that I will not let any of the nation’s enemies live.”

Shaan also announced in an earlier Official Trailer Video that the movie will be releasing in cinemas in September. Though it is an unusual way to make such a big announcement, the short snippets are building a lot of hype around the film.
The official description on the film’s trailer read: “The rogue spy is on a mission to end all threats to his motherland. On his journey, he uncovers all the lies that are being told to the people of Pakistan. Corruption is at the core of every establishment he encounters. Our passionate hero ‘Zarrar’ played by ‘Shaan Shahid’ tells his version of the story.”
