Twitter has got a new trending topic in Pakistan, and this time it’s a film!
One of the renowned film production houses, JB Films, recently released the official trailer of Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed-starrer Ghabrana Nahi Hai. The trailer of the upcoming Eid ul Fitr movie was launched on 12th March at 6pm and generated hype that it deserved. Within 24 hours of its release, the movie trailer took over Twitter by storm as it reached the no.1 spot on Twitter trending list.
Ghabrana Nahi Hai boasts of a stellar cast including Saba Qamar, Zahid Ahmed, Syed Jibran, Sohail Ahmed, Nayyar Ejaz, Afzal Khan (Rambo) and Saleem Meraj amongst others. With such big names on board as well as a good production house, the film is bound to make fans excited. It is safe to say that fan’s anticipation is soaring and hence the trailer’s success didn’t come as a surprise.
The film will be a first for many; Zahid Ahmed will be making his big screen debut in this film. It is also going to be Syed Jibran’s debut performance in a film. The storyline is also one of its kind for a Pakistani film.
The trailer perfectly encapsulates the roller-coaster of events with small snippets of a troubled family, a goon and corrupt policemen. Saba’s character is trying to get back the ownership of his father’s land, while Zahid’s character is in two minds as he is in cahoots with the land grabbers. The movie has elements of drama, action, comedy, romance and thrill that will all come together to form a good story line. The trailer has made waves on Twitter and this seems to be a plot that will bring people to the cinemas on Eid.
The film fraternity, from celebrities to crew members, have expressed their excitement and anticipation for the movie. They are vocal about it and the support is remarkable. It is of no surprise that so many people are already talking about Ghabrana Nahi Hai, given that the trailer has done exceptionally well and received such praise.
