If the news of a possible release of Nabeel Qureshi’s upcoming film Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad in the near future wasn’t enough to cheer you up this morning, the ace director has another triumph to boast about. His recently released directorial, a music video of Shani Arshad’s song — Ki Jana — has been nominated at the Miami short Film Festival.
The video features Sonya Hussyn and Mohsin Abbas Haider as a newly-married couple who were eventually killed in the name of honor killing. Ki Jana is a visual masterpiece, shot in the hot and barren area of Balochistan by Nabeel Qureshi. The video has been nominated in the Best Music Video category with its English title, ‘RED (The colour of Love)’.
Nabeel took to Instagram and shared the news with his followers with two screenshots of the nomination.
