Veena Malik and Sania Mirza got into an argument on Twitter recently when Veena raised questions about Sania’s parenting. After a spat the argument ultimately led to the athlete blocking the actress. Here’s what went down between the two:
Veena Malik took a dig at Sania Mirza, showing concern about her son being exposed to hazardous sheesha smoke as well as Shoaib Malik’s diet prior to the match.
Sania, I am actually so worried for the kid. You guys took him to a sheesha place isn’t it Hazardious? Also as far as I know Archie’s is all about junk food which isn’t good for athletes/Boys. You must know well as you are mother and athlete yourself? https://t.co/RRhaDfggus

Sania responded aptly that her child’s safety is none of Veena’s concern.
Veena,I hav not taken my kid to a sheesha place. Not that it’s any of your or the rest of the world’s business cause I think I care bout my son a lot more than anyone else does 🙂 secondly I am not Pakistan cricket team’s dietician nor am I their mother or principal or teacher https://t.co/R4lXSm794B

In a now deleted tweet, Sania brought up Veena Malik’s ‘not so decent’ cover shoot which she also coined as hazardous.
Shortly after this, Sania proceeded to block Veena to which the actress responded:
Okay so this Happened. First, she tweeted then deleted that tweet right away and blocked me. I mentioned my concerns in a very civilised, calm & composed manner. It could have been a healthy debate. pic.twitter.com/aw6C36xI3o

After Pakistan’s defeat in the match against India, many people all over social media deemed the players unfit due to their poor performance on the field, and hence the blame game began. However, according to a news report in Dawn, the Pakistan Cricket Board has rubbished all rumours about the cricketers enjoying themselves on a night out. The photos are of a gathering two days prior to the match.
The PCB spokesperson said: “The videos and photographs that went viral (on social media) are from two days before the match. The day before the match against India, all the players were in their hotel rooms by curfew time.”
Shoaib Malik has also issued a stern clarification and has slammed media for distorting facts about his personal life.
On behalf of all athletes I would like to request media and people to maintain respect levels in regards to our families, who should not be dragged into petty discussions at will. It’s not a nice thing to do
