Following the Indian Supreme Court’s decision to legalise homosexuality, Bollywood celebrities have taken to social media to felicitate the LGBTQ community in their country.
The Supreme Court of India, on Thursday, repealed Section 377 – a law which referred to ‘unnatural offences’ and said ‘whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life or liable to pay a fine’.
Several celebs including Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Alia Bhatt, Kalki Koechlin, Abhishek Bachchan, Karan Johar, and Arjun Kapoor, amongst others, have reacted to this historic judgment.
