After producing a number of films under the Dharma Productions banner, it seems that Karan Johar is finally ready to announce his next directorial, Takht.
Announcing his return to the director’s seat after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Karan took to Twitter to give his fans the big news.

The film stars an ensemble of A-listers such as Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jahnvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Anil Kapoor.
Given the name, we’d think this might be another grand Omkara-esque story in the making. But, we’d have to give Karan Johar the benefit of the doubt, given his brands of films, which usually center around family drama.

The release date of the film is yet to be known, but Takht is expected to hit the cinema screens in 2020.
