Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre, who stunned audiences all over the world with her good looks and acting prowess, has been diagnosed with a “high-grade cancer”.
Sonali took to Twitter earlier today (Wednesday) to make the revelation. “Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer that has metastised , which we frankly did not see coming,” she wrote.

“There’s not better way to tackle this , than to take swift and immediate action,” Sonali said in the statement. She also disclosed that she is currently undergoing treatment in New York.
Sonali made her debut in films with Aag in 1994 which also featured Govinda. She has since been part of several hit movies such as Duplicate, Major Saab, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Sarfarosh and Kal Ho Na Ho.
