As we move closer to the release of Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 (JPNA2) the already tremendous amount of excitement surrounding the film continues to mount. Featuring a star-studded cast that includes Humayun Saeed, Fahad Mustafa, Mawra Hocane, Kubra Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Sarwat Gilani, Uzma Khan with Fawad Khan and God knows who else in cameo roles, there’s every reason to believe that JPNA2 will shatter all previous box office records.

With so many questions in our mind, we reached out to the film’s producer and lead actor Humayun Saeed for some inside information and while we will be sharing with you a detailed interview with him soon, here’s a brief yet very interesting snippet of our conversation with him.

One of the questions we had in mind is Fahad Mustafa’s association with the film. It’s not often that we see two big stars come together on the big screen. Just take a look at Bollywood for instance; it’s been ages since their top actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan did a film together. Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan have never even worked together while Salman and Aamir were last seen together in Andaz Apna Apna, over 20 years ago.

So, did Humayun and Fahad get along or were there lots of skirmishes on set? “Absolutely not!” said Humayun when we asked him this question. “We had a wonderful time shooting together. Fahad’s done a fantastic job and his fans are in for a real treat because his character in JPNA2 will be responsible for major laugh riots,” he added.

How difficult was it for Humayun and Fahad to agree to a project that would feature them both? “Generally, two-hero films are very difficult to pull off. We are lucky that we had a story with two parallel roles, credit for which obviously goes to Vasay (Chaudhry) who was able to write such a wonderful script that neither Fahad nor I could refuse and Nadeem (Baig) who has executed it brilliantly.”

Well, there you have it. There actually were no fights on the set of JPNA2, only lots of fun and frolic which will hopefully be passed on to the big screen as well!
