Since Mahira believes she’s a full-time mother and part-time actor, she dedicated this award to her son, Azlan.
Also at the festival, she shared the stage with renowned Bollywood actor, producer and talk show host Simi Garewal. In the session, she revealed that since the age of 10 she’s had two dreams.
“I had two dreams when I was growing up. One, I wanted to get married. I was 10 years old and I was like shaadi karni hai, because I had seen all my cousins getting married and I was like this is a lot of fun. And my second wish was mujhay Shah Rukh Khan kay saath film karni hai (I want to do a film with SRK),” she said.

And as Simi quickly pointed out, the go-getter she is, Mahira did both!
