In an unbelievable twist of fate, a recount at the Lux Style Awards office has resulted in an inclusion of popular TV play Baaghi, starring Saba Qamar and featured on Urdu 1, in the categories of Best TV Play and Best Original Sound Track while O Rangreza has also found itself another spot in Best OST.
“Due to an inadvertent error, the nominations of the category Best TV Play and Best TV OST have been revised as follows,†Fareshteh Aslam, Awards Manager of the annual Lux Style Awards has announced in a press release.

This revision has now landed Baaghi four nominations at the Lux Style Awards this year – Best TV Play, Best TV Actress, Best Director and Best OST, while Hum TV’s O Rangreza still leads the race with five nominations. Unfortunately Hum TV’s Yakeen Ka Safar, did still not make the cut for Best TV Play. YKS owed it’s popularity to the chemistry between Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly more than anything else and we’re delighted that both Ahad and Sajal are nominated.
The recount has resulted in Sammi and Ali Azmat/Rasme Dunya for Best TV Play and Best Original Sound Track respectively, not making it to the final list of nominations.
The errors were detected and fixed just in time, right before the Viewer’s Choice Polls, that open for voting tomorrow. May the best serials win.
