Owning hundreds of thousands of hearts with her cooking and her unique personality, renowned celebrity chef Zubaida Tariq has passed away at the age of 72 due to a heart failure.
Known popularly as Zubaida Aapa, she was reportedly unwell, after which she was taken to the hospital. However, she suffered a heart attack and subsequently, passed away. According to Anwar Maqsood, she passed away late-night on Thursday.
The personality belonged to an eminent household which also includes Fatima Surraiya Bajiya, Anwar Maqsood, and Zehra Nigah.
Her namaz-e-janaza will take place at Sultan Masjid in DHA, Karachi today.
