Faraz Manan to present an award
One of Pakistan’s top designers, Faraz Manan has not only taken Pakistan’s fashion industry by storm, he has become a sign of exclusivity within Bollywood and even the Middle East due to his successful outlet in Dubai. After winning Designer of the Year last year, despite Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee being nominated in the same category, Faraz has now been given the honour of presenting an award this year. More power to you, Faraz.
Mehreen Noorani nominated for Designer of the Year
Dubai based Pakistani designer Mehreen Noorani, who is an executive member of the Fashion Pakistan Council and who was also a part of the Fashion Parade in London last year, has been nominated for the Best Designer category. While she has had a strong presence in Dubai’s fashion shows this year, she will face some tough competition as names like Masaba Gupta and Varoin Marwah have been nominated as well. The judge will be none other than the legend, Manish Malhotra.
Govinda to perform
Hero number 1 will be setting the stage aflame this year, as he is set to perform on all his hit numbers, from ‘Kisi Disco Mei’ to ‘Do You Wanna Partner’, among others. The host of the night will be Boman Irani who is sure to keep the audience in fits of laughter. Arjun Rampal is also set to attend the ceremony.
