With all the controversies and revelations attached with Kangana Ranaut’s name in the last few years, the actress is still shining brightly. Whether it was Queen, Tanu Weds Manu 2, or now, her much-anticipated film, Simran, the actress is all set to keep the record of successes at the box office a high. However, if you thought that was it, she’s all set to direct her first film..
Directing her first Hindi film titled Teju, Kangana will be seen essaying the role of an 80-year-old woman, who is apparently a ‘wannabe witch.’ Narrating a comical tale of an old woman, the film will look at the eponymous ‘Teju’ failing at her task and later, how she eventually fulfills her dream.

Kangana first spoke about Teju on a talk show with Barkha Dutt, where the actress was elated on playing a role where she ‘would be able to push boundaries’. What made her even more excited was the fact that this would be her own directorial, hence, she’ll be able to mould it the way she wants to.
“That film [Teju] is under the process. It will be a nice journey, I am looking forward to it. It is a children’s film, and I have a lot of ideas and excitement for it. But it will be a difficult project to pull off, and I am looking forward to it,” the actress told Barkha Dutt.
Although not much has been revealed about the Queen actress’ pet project, we hope that it would be as fun as it sounds!
