Soon after the news of Saba Qamar’s next film — Kamli — with Sarmad Khoosat broke out, an online entertainment portal started circulating reports that the actress has also signed a film, titled Dhai Chaal, on the life of Indian national and spy Kulbhushan Jadhav. However, Saba has denied the news in her social media post.
Taking to Twitter, Saba wrote that people make up news behind her back and confirmed that she has only signed Kamli.

Despite Saba’s refusal, the portal clarified that they have confirmed the news from the producers and other sources. They also reached out to Saba for confirmation before posting the news.

To this Saba added that, “You have received confirmation from three sources but not ME. Your claim of asking me for a confirmation before posting the news is totally wrong. I haven’t received any message like that. I’m denying this publicly because my name was used publicly without my consent for a project I’m not even a part of.â€

Other than Saba Qamar, the news report also claimed that Shamoon Abbasi has signed the said film, however the actor took to Instagram and denied all such claims.
“A humble request to the producers and filmmakers that are going to make films in the future, kindly lock things up with me before sending reports to bloggers and newspapers without any confirmation with me in the films,” he said adding, “This is the second film that I am mentioned in without any confirmation. Not that I mind but clarifying the matter with the news becomes a hassle indeed.”
