Imran Ashraf and Amar Khan’s debut film Dum Mastam will release on Eid ul Fitr 2022 and the promotions are in full swing. Following the trailer, the first song Larki Achari was released at a fun-filled event in Lahore, raising everyone’s expectations.

Speaking of the song, Amar who has also penned the film shares that Larki Achari is a gift to the Pakistani audience.

“We were very excited to release the first song from this musical rom-com, Dum Mastam,” she said adding that they knew the song has a very “electrifying vibe and crackling chemistry that would translate well on screen”.

“We have all grown up dancing to wedding songs by our neighbors(Bollywood). There is a wedding fever in our country so it is our small little gift to the Pakistani audience to dance to their own shaadi film song.”

Sung by Shiraz Uppal and Neha Chaudhary, the lyrics have been penned by late Shakeel Sohail. While the song itself has a catchy desi beat, the choreography by Nigah jee is contagious and remains the highlight of the vibrant video.

“We launched this song in Lahore and it was a packed crowd,” she excitedly shared adding that the response has been phenomenal.

Amar added that since she has grown up listening and performing to Shiraz Uppal’s song, this was  an absolute pleasure.

“I never knew that one day one of my film songs would be done my him.” Amar also expressed that she has always been a passionate performer.

“So maybe I did not have to put in much effort because I stupendously enjoyed. I just love dancing and Nigah Jee added the right wedding vibes and jugalbandi between the characters, Bao and Alia.”

Larki Achari is vibrant, showcasing the colors of Punjab and the choreography guarantees to make you want to dance along making it the perfect shaadi track.

Produced by Adnan Siddiqui and Akhtar Hasnain for Cereal Entertainment, Dum Mastam has been directed by Mohammed Ehteshammuddin, who has previously directed Superstar. 

The film also features Kiran Malik, Momin Saqib, Saleem Mairaj, Arslan Naseer, Saife Hasan, Uzma Beg, Agha Mustafa Hassan, Sohail Ahmed, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Adnan Shah Tipu, Faiza Gillani, and many more.
