Celebrating its 5th anniversary, Karachi Eat Food Festival is back for another dose of food and entertainment, and this time it’s bigger than ever. If you thought the three-day gluttony fest was big enough last time, there are some major changes in the offing this weekend.

What all has exactly changed and what’s new? We found out!

New Location

The festival bids a farewell to the iconic Frere Hall this year.

After four years at the iconic Frere Hall, Karachi Eat will see a new venue this year as it moves to Benazir Bhutto Park near Boat Basin. Boasting views of the water, the festival will finally have a bigger space to operate from!

Music Line-up

Karachi Eat

Every year Karachi Eat provides some much-needed concert space along with the culinary choices, and this time it’s going to be no different! With names like Atif Aslam, Asim Azhar, Fuzon, Akhter Chanal, Aaroh and much more attached to the line-up, we’re sure we don’t want to miss out on it!

The biggest collection of eateries, yet!

With a whopping 125 eateries a part of Karachi Eat this year, one can expect to be spoilt for choice! It’ll also be the first time when some new cuisines such as Parsi, Swiss, Sri Lankan and Japanese would be introduced at the event. Some of the ones we’re particularly looking out for though, is Fry Guys, Awesamosas, and Smokehouse!

All food under PKR 300

There’s always been one complaint at food festivals, and that’s about the hiked-up prices. Well, not this time around! Making sure a certain amount of quality and quantity control is present at the festival, the organizers have made sure that all food items would be below PKR 300 in order to make it more affordable for visitors.

Painting the town red, literally

Providing some much-needed art therapy, Karachi Eat will also be collaborating with Easel Bay, which is providing paints and canvas for children and adults to paint at the event. The session will go on throughout the event and serves as a stress-free zone for everyone. Now, this is cool or what?

Karachi Eat will take place from the 12th until the 14th at the Benazir Bhutto Park, Karachi.
