Pakistan’s most beloved drama serial of recent times — Ranjha Ranjha Kardi — has finally come to a conclusion, and that too an end that left all the fans happy. While it was gratifying to watch Bhola and Noori (played by Imran Ashraf and Iqra Aziz respectively) live a happy life together, we are sad that the play is over and we won’t get two of our most favourite characters anymore on TV.
There were many aspects that stood out in the play but the highlight of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi is the beautiful relationship between Imran and Iqra’s characters. Despite Bhola’s mental impairment (which was only due to wrong medications), he established a strong but innocent bond with his wife. On the other hand, Iqra’s character was convincingly in two minds but she always cared for Bhola.
Imran Ashraf also recognized this honest chemistry between their characters. The actor posted a thank you note on Instagram on Sunday in which he praised his team members, especially Iqra.
“Mein bohat arsay say yeah baat maan chuka hoon k jo chemistry on screen meri ap k saath hai woh naseeb say milti hai [I have accepted this a while ago that the on-screen chemistry I share with you can only be attained through good fortune],” he wrote.
Earlier Iqra was in the headlines as she unfollowed all the actors from the industry, including Imran, on Instragram after the controversy between Yasir Hussain and Hania Aamir. When a fan brought it to Imran’s notice, he gave a positive response.
“Doesn’t matter. I am her actual fan. I will keep on following her,” he said.
