Saba Qamar will be walking the red carpet tonight at the premiere of her latest film, Ghabrana Nahi Hai. If her impeccable style is anything to go by, we’re going to be seeing the starlet in yet another gorgeous ensemble. As we eagerly wait to see what Saba and stylist Zahra Sarfraz have put together for this big night, Something Haute looks back at some of our favorite looks from the past few weeks.

Ethereal Beauty

Saba Qamar

Yes, we just can’t get enough of this look. Saba wears the classic sari silhouette with a modern twist. What looks like a sari is in fact a hand-painted dupatta from Zuria Dor’s Fiore collection. Draped over a balloon sleeved blouse and straight trousers, the dupatta is tied with a white belt around the midriff to emulate the elegance of a sari.

Zahra paired this ensemble with diamond pieces from Zahid Jewelers. The diamond earrings perfectly complement the dupatta’s pearl and sequin embellishments while the emerald ring adds a pop of green to go with the outfit’s floral print. Understated silver heels from Steve Madden let the dupatta take center stage while bringing the entire look together.

Color Blocking Queen

Saba Qamar

Zahra has employed color blocking beautifully for this outfit and paired it with minimal accessories to create a look that is subtle while making a statement. Local design house, The Leon, stitched this olive-green satin dress that cuts off right above the ankles. Its turtleneck is complemented by a long pink blazer from The French Connection. Pairing big blazers with long dresses can often look unkempt but this outfit is a reminder that the outcome can sometimes be well worth the risk.

We love a girl who’s not afraid to repeat pieces and Saba does just that with her emerald ring, which is once again mirroring the green in her clothes. With silver slides that reflect the sparkle in her diamond earrings, the entire look comes together to give us a powerhouse actress who isn’t afraid to flaunt her femininity.

Boss Lady Glamour

Saba Qamar

Saba and Zahra have kept us on the edge of our seats with their various interpretations of the formal suit. First, we saw the slate grey blue suit which was followed by a pink blazer over a long dress. With this look, they have once again delivered an impeccable take on the boss lady vibe.

The tea green suit was custom made for Saba by Elan. Covered in gota work, the blazer and pants almost seem to sparkle. This time Saba opted for a cropped blazer that cuts off just before her waist. A plain white shirt is tucked in to provide a structured contrast to the flared pants, while also allowing our attention to linger on the embroidered pieces.

Saba’s emerald ring is once again present to provide a pop of bright green that contrasts with the suit’s light hue. She’s opted for statement earrings from Zahid Jewelers that look beautiful with her sleek updo and understated makeup. Once again, we’re seeing green being paired with pink. Saba’s bright pink pointed toes peek out from under the hem of her pants to remind us that she’s not afraid to experiment.

Traditional Elegance

Saba Qamar

With her appearance on ARY’s Jeeto Pakistan League, Saba takes a more traditional approach with cream ensemble from The Pink Tree Company. A long frock is worn over a dhaka pajama to give us modest elegance. The flowing silhouette is tapered at the sleeves that are gathered at the cuffs. The outfit is embellished with gold embroidery and gota patti which catch the eye without screaming for attention.

We love that Zahra chose to keep the accessories at a minimal for this look. A sleek bun and minimal makeup are paired with traditional gold earrings that bring our attention to Saba’s face while complimenting the rest of her outfit.

Flowing Queen

Saba manages to give an element of oomph to this cream kaftan from Sana Safinaz. The outfit adds a fun twist to the classic silhouette with a halter neck and a belted waist. Cream embroidery adds understated embellishment to the outfit while tassels on bell sleeves give the look a breezy, flowing vibe.

Diamond earrings from Sherezad add a hint of red to this cream ensemble and a volumized updo gives a modern touch to the entire look.
