Cornetto is Pakistan’s favourite frozen dessert and there’s no doubt about it — but it became even more popular with their #LoveOnTheGo collaboration with Careem! Spreading the joy of love and ice cream, and getting people to come together, Cornetto and Careem became a viral sensation over the last few weeks!
How did it all play out? Let’s explore…
It all started with an influencer, ZainWain taking to his Twitter to reveal that he just got rejected by a girl in his Careem ride and it became almost comical when the Careem captain also couldn’t control his laughter at what just occurred. Replying to this, both Cornetto and Careem told Zain this wouldn’t have happened if he had offered Cornetto to her! In fact, he might have gotten free credits too, with a chance to win an iPhone 12.
This got Twitter buzzing, and of course, we soon saw Twitteratis and social media influencers taking this sad story by Zain and turning the frown upside down with their own success stories instead! Soon, #LoveOnTheGo trended all across, and we saw some of our fave influencers telling us how this Careem x Cornetto collab made all the difference for them — in the best of ways!
Influencer Aden Rehan, took to her popular Instagram page and spoke about how her road trips with her husband are incomplete if Cornetto is not a part of it, whereas, Fariha Asghar and her beau revealed how the Careem and Cornetto collab came in handy when she got to use the promo code on the Cornetto lid and got to eat some Cornetto’s from the saved amount!
The love and frolic-filled stories only got cuter as influencer couple Afifa and Zain AKA Mismatched Couple revealed that Cornetto has always played a part in their story — and how Careem just made it sweeter! Comedian and influencer Ghazanfer Jaffery and his lady love also expressed their love for Cornetto and Careem’s latest collab as they both are avid users and consumers of both.
These influencers prove that the love for Cornetto and Careem doesn’t know any bounds and for all the right reasons! Not only did this partnership help these perfect pairs come a bit closer, it also rewarded them with the sweetness of Cornetto and free Careem credits! What’s even better is that this campaign also paved the way for more fun collabs to hopefully come our way! Who knows what’s on offer next.
