A bank robbery, masked men, vaults of cash, prison cell, chase and fight sequences, luxury cars, lots of action and drama encapsulate the fast-paced teaser of Faisal Qureshi’s upcoming film Money Back Guarantee (MBG).
The first teaser of the much anticipated multi-starrer is out now and within 30 seconds, it reveals that the caper film involves a heist (possibly gone wrong). It is short, crisply edited and hardly reveals any characters unless you pause every second.
The teaser begins with a dialogue in Gohar Rasheed’s voice who says the mantra of the film: “Agar daro gey, tou maro gey… agar maaro gey, to aaghay barho gey [If you fear, you’ll die… If you kill, you’ll move forward].”
MBG looks like a thriller with non stop developments and a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Writer and director Faisal Qureshi (Teefa in Trouble) hasn’t revealed much about the plot to keep viewers excited for the ensemble cast. Fawad Khan is visible at certain instance in the teaser so keep your eyes wide open. There are also pictures of Faisal Qureshi and Mustafa Qureshi on the walls in one scene; this reminds us about the picture of Mustafa Qureshi on the currency notes.

The hype around the film is building with each reveal, however, the cast is keeping their cards close to their chest as action-thrillers require secrecy to hold attention. The film has a big star cast including like Fawad Khan, Wasim Akram, Shaniera Akram, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Omar, Javed Sheikh, Jan Rambo, Gohar Rasheed, Hina Dilpazir, Shayan Khan, Mani, Kiran Malik, Ali Safina, Marhoom Ahmad Bilal, Adnan Jaffer, Shafaat Ali and Aqdas Waseem.

It is reported that Fawad Khan will have Wasim Akram as his nemesis in the film which is a laugh riot in the genre of satirical comedy. Fawad’s look in the film is quite different with a moustache and three-piece suits, and one can expect that he has a lot to offer in this new genre.
After Fawad’s brief but meaningful appearance in Ms. Marvel, he will be seen on big screen in The Legend of Maula Jatt in October this year and then perhaps MBG is going to be his next appearance on silver screen. There is also Asim Abbasi’s currently untitled Zee5 web series in which he is starring with Sanam Saeed. Let’s wait to find out which will come out earlier.
Money Back Guarantee is produced by Zashko Films in collaboration with Game Over Productions. The film is scheduled to b released on 21st April, 2023.
