Fawad Khan was right when he said that “when the dam breaks, there will be a lot to watch.” The actor, who has been absent from the local film scene for quite a few years, is now returning with back to back films. Fawad has posted the first look poster of his next film Money Back Guarantee on Instagram to announce its release date.
“Unveiling the first look of our next movie Money Back Guarantee – MBG. A film by Faisal Qureshi. Teaser coming out Sept 9, 2022, 10:00 am (PST),” he wrote.

The actor announced that the film will release in theaters worldwide on April 21st, 2023. It’s trailer will be out on 9th September, 2022.
Directed by Teefa in Trouble actor, Faisal Qureshi, MBG has a big star cast including like Fawad Khan, Wasim Akram, Shaniera Akram, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Omar, Javed Sheikh, Jan Rambo, Gohar Rasheed, Hina Dilpazir, Shayan Khan, Mani, Kiran Malik, Ali Safina, Marhoom Ahmad Bilal, Adnan Jaffer, Shafaat Ali and Aqdas Waseem.

Faisal has roped in heartthrob Fawad Khan to play the main lead. MBG is said to be a laugh riot, in the genre of satirical comedy. It is a family film for the masses and is not just being directed by Faisal but has also been written by him.

The poster of the film features a gas mask with images of Fawad Khan and Wasim Akram’s characters reflecting on its peepholes. Fawad has a vintage look with a moustache while Wasim looks like his usual self. We can also spot some currency notes with a new image on it.
It was earlier revealed in a news report that “the cricketer will be playing a small but significant role in the film. He plays nemesis to Fawad Khan’s hero. A bank robbery is also a part of the plot. And what seems more interesting is that the ladies in the film don’t necessarily play love interest to any of the male leads.”

After Fawad’s brief but meaningful appearance in Ms. Marvel, he will be seen on big screen in The Legend of Maula Jatt in October this year and then perhaps MBG is going to be his next appearance on silver screen. There is also Asim Abbasi’s currently untitled Zee5 web series in which he is starring with Sanam Saeed. Let’s wait to find out which will come out earlier.
