End of the year means wedding season in Pakistan and even during a tough time when the world is facing a pandemic, desi weddings are hardly dialing down the festivity. Though the wedding celebrations are restricted to intimate affairs, the preparation for the party is always grand, especially for girls. Bridesmaids, be it close friends, sisters or cousins, get together, doll up to make the most of the occasion.
The most recent celebrity to attend such a colourful winter wedding is Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wife, Naimal Khawar Khan, who has been serving us with some serious wedding ensemble goals at her sister, Fiza Khawar’s shaadi.
From a vibrant sari, a lush and luxurious velvet ensemble to block print and vivacious floral printed lehnga, Naimal was seen in statement pieces, taking her style game up a notch at every event, and everyone is loving it! Take a look here:
Sari is supreme
Naimal was seen wearing a mustard Faiza Saqlain sari with golden screen printed flowers on her sister’s mayoun. She complemented the vibrant colour with bold red lips and a loose hair bun. Though her look was quite simple, the statement choker made it more glamorous!
Velvet dreams
Velvet is the most trending fabric in winter weddings and Naimal donned the most luxurious colours of all time, a deep red hue on her sister’s big day. The bespoke ‘Zama’ir’ Bridal by Mohsin Naveed Ranjha was customised in a peshwas lehnga silhouette. Naimal looked regal in this traditional ensemble that she chose to wear at Fiza’s rukhsati. She paired it with a huge golden maang teeka that exuded a vintage vibe.

Magic of colours
Naimal created our very own desi princess-like look with a colourful Nomi Ansari ensemble at her sister’s wedding. With distinct colours, floral prints and intricate embroidery, the timeless look has all festive elements in one outfit. Naimal styled the outfit with a beautiful neckpiece.
Black & block
That’s not all, Naimal continued to impress everyone with her outfit choices at her friend Nisma’s dholak. She was seen in a black block print ensemble by Sadaf Fawad Khan Bridals (SFK Bridals). The dark hue was complemented with gold work on sleeves and neckline and a bold teeka added a zing.
