Rizwan took to social media and shared the news with his followers:
“Huge thank you to all of you who have stood by me on my journey… May we continue to be proud Pakistanis. Thank you Pakistan for the respect and honour,” he wrote.
He also went on to clarify the actual reason behind his journey, which is not just because he is an accomplished designer.
“Many people believe that I have received this honor because of my capabilities as a designer. But in reality, it is due to the corporate social responsibility our label has shown, the work we have done over the course of the past 10 years with women in rural villages, that is the reason for this award. We would like to get more women from remote areas and villages on board and provide them with jobs to increase their income,” he added.
Congratulations! Team Something Haute wishes the designer all the best for his future endeavors.
