Humayun Saeed’s recent stint as Danish in the much-loved play Meray Paas Tum Ho is not just famous in the media circles. The drama has received praises from all quarters, ranging from public appreciation to well-known personalities lauding it. Another name in the list is Senator Faisal Javed Khan who recently spoke at length about the play during an interview.
On a recent episode of GTV Network’s morning show G Utha, the politician admitted that he watches old dramas to take a break and likes their nostalgic appeal. He also revealed that he has been following Meray Paas Tum Ho.

“I am also friends with Humayun and Adnan. Humayun showed me a clip of the play prior to the release and I told him that I will watch it and will give feedback. Later I told him that despite Adnan doing a great job, Shahwar was an explicit role where Adnan had a lot of margin to play a negative character. Similarly, Ayeza’s role is also explicit where the negative shades are very prominent. But the most difficult role was played by Humayun where he had to remain subtle and show his transformation,” he said.
Faisal also mentioned that “it was a very challenging role and nobody could have done justice to Danish other than Humayun Saeed.”
