Ahsan Khan has joined the cast of Alif and will soon be seen sharing the screen with Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sajal Aly, Kubra Khan, Osman Khalid Butt, and Sadaf Kanwal!
Ahsan chose this particular character for its nature; the Udaari star has always been vocal about not attaching himself with run-of-the-mill projects and roles.
“This character is different from what I have done in the past,” Ahsan said when we asked him about the role he will be playing in the upcoming play. “The character is very spiritual and takes inspiration from the words and life of Rumi. Sufism helps him find peace and calmness.”

The actor also feels that the script, which has been written by Umera Ahmed, and the direction, that has been done by Haseeb Hassan of Parwaaz Hai Junoon fame has helped him in blindly trusting this project.
“There are very few writers who are worth having blind faith in and I know she [Umera Ahmed] is one of those very few I can blindly trust,” he said. ” On the other hand, Haseeb’s dedication is commendable and I am always open to working with dedicated producers and directors who offer me something unusual and challenging.”
