The highly-anticipated drama serial Alif, featuring Hamza Ali Abbasi and Sajal Aly in the lead, is all set to air from this Saturday, October 5th. However, to create more buzz around the project, the makers recently released its official OST sung by Momina Mustehsan and Shuja Haider.

The track is a soulful number in accordance with the theme of the play. Each character in the play has its own spiritual journey, based on the long standing question: the eternal love of God versus the love of a mortal being. We saw glimpses of Kubra Khan and Sajal’s dance performances and how both their characters influence the men around them, Ahsan Khan and Hamza respectively.

The impactful lyrics are hard-hitting, narrating the true essence of Alif’s story with an inspirational musical composition. With some thought-provoking dialogues blended with Shuja and Momina’s powerful vocals, the track presents this clash of two worlds in a new light.

Written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Haseeb Hassan, Alif will air from 5th October at 8 pm on Geo Entertainment. Watch the complete song here:
