Virtual fashion weeks are growing in popularity as the world continues its fight against the novel coronavirus. However, the fashion industry tends to focus more on men and women’s wear and kids fashion takes a back seat. Renowned children fashion brand Hopscotch realized that even children need to put their best foot forward and embrace the new season in style. So, Hopscotch organized the first-ever digital fashion show in Pakistan which was solely for kids because why should adults have all the fun?
The three-day event kicked off on 13th November and went on live till 15th November on its Instagram page where the brand showcased new looks every hour that were high-fashion yet trendy. Here’s a sneak peek into how children had fun at the live show:
A fun showcase
Children were seen laughing, dancing and having a great time in unique combinations from textured woolen, plaids, denims, velvets and much more. There were all sorts of varieties available in fabrics and designs. The focus remained on the idea that clothes should let kids be kids with styles that are easy to wear, comfortable and playful for little ones.
The magic of creativity
The fashion show was divided into different sections. Children were not only modeling the clothes but they also presented different ways of styling under a certain theme. It was a fun way for them as well as parents to learn how to mix and match different textures like denims with plaids or how to color co-ordinate; for instance: pair a yellow muffler on blue sweaters.

One piece, different styles
Being the first show of its kind in Pakistan, the brand also wanted to educate the viewers about unique techniques of styling. With seasonal change, we often stop experimenting with kids apparel as our main focus is to keep them warm. But the fashion show also taught how to use one cool piece of clothing to create many looks with distinct and funky styles. Here’s how only one variation in a jacket or a sweater can change the whole look.

Also, children are always prone to diseases in winter so the show also taught fun ways to layer outfits with cool jackets, sweaters, caps, mufflers and coats.
