Farah Khan was recently in Dubai to help promote her dear friend, Sania Mirza’s sister Anam Mirza’s fashion initiative named The Label Bazaar. At the event, Something Haute caught up with the filmmaker and asked her about her stance on Pakistan and India, especially with respect to cinema.

“I hope someone takes me there one day,” Farah said when asked if she ever thought of visiting Pakistan, knowing that there are countless Pakistanis who love her work. “I would love to visit Pakistan and I know there are so many people from Pakistan who love me.”

The Happy New Year filmmaker, whose films have not only done well in Pakistan but are also cult favourites, also spoke about the kind of love she’s received from the country.

“You know Main Hoon Na just completed 10 years and it had a great message of unity between the two countries, I still get messages from people across Pakistan that how much they enjoyed the film and they keep on sending their love,” she said. “I will come to Pakistan one day Inshallah.”
