Providing Pakistani women with a safe space, Kanwal Ahmed created a Facebook group Soul Sisters Pakistan (SSP) in 2013. With the aim of helping and supporting women in all walks of life, SSP now has almost approximately 150,000 members and they continue to grow each day. The founder of the group has been to places in the span of just six years and now, she’s getting her first digital talk show.
The show titled Conversation with Kanwal, which is supported by Facebook Community Leadership Program (FCLP) — will cover a range of real stories to spark debate on important issues. Directed by Faheem Azam, the show will release a new episode every Sunday.

Soul Sisters was probably the first all-women digital forum in Pakistan which has grown rapidly over the years with women finding solace, advice and even ideal suitors on the group. Last year, Kanwal visited the Facebook Headquarter in California to attend the Community Leadership Program by the social media site. Group founders from 115 countries were trained and funded in order to improve their digital forums.
