Things are abuzz with Verna promotions underway, and while Mahira Khan is the sweetheart everyone is looking forward to seeing on the big screen once again, we are also looking forward to seeing Haroon Shahid’s acting capabilities.
In a conversation on Geo Pakistan today, the musician was asked about his experience working with veteran director Shoaib Mansoor. With a laugh, the actor shared an anecdote about his ‘inexperience’ instead!

Apparently, despite being told by Shoaib Mansoor that he needs to grow his beard for his role, the actor went to a barbershop for a trim. Unfortunately for him, the trim turned into the barber chopping off most of his beard! The actor didn’t make too much of it at the time, but when he went back to the set of the film he had to face the director’s wrath.
“Shoaib sahib put me and Aabroo [makeup artist] in a room after that…†Haroon said, recalling the director’s anger.
Mahira added to the story by explaining how everyone on set was so tense because Shoaib Mansoor’s mood was ruined.
“It was you!†Mahira exclaimed when she found out it was Haroon who had messed up.
