We couldn’t stop binge-watching our favourite Shah Rukh Khan films on Netflix, since Red Chillies Entertainment struck a deal with online video streaming giant last December. Some of the best films by the actor, including his lifetime hits Om Shanti Om, My Name is Khan, Ra.One, Dilwale and Chennai Express, have received wide acclaim in Bollywood and around the diaspora. So, to those of you who just can’t have enough of this titan on your Netflix nights; surprise! SRK takes another leap forward to give fans a thrill on Netfilx; this time it’s going to be a spooky stream of content.
According to an Indian publication, the Raees star apparently finds that there is an appalling dearth of some spine-chilling, gut-wrenching horror films in Bollywood. SRK feels that the Bollywood industry has not yet experimented with the horror genre fully, and he has taken upon his shoulders to give a hit to the bland horror genre via Netflix.
So how exactly does King Khan proceed with changing the face of horror forever? With the extremely talented special effects team and virtually thrilling content from RCE, the King of Bollywood is all set to Netflix and spook! The content is going to be a mini-series that SRK calls an “experimentâ€, before he embarks on making a giant Bollywood hit. Talk about experimenting on the great Netflix!
We are super excited for what is to come, let’s just hope it’s a better horror story than Jab Harry Met Sejal!
