It’s the era of fashion bloggers and influencers and Alkaram Studio duly recognized the leverage social media has in today’s day and age. Alkaram was a total winner at the last weekend’s highlight, Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW), as the label brought five Influencers from the fashion fraternity, namely Noor-e-Sehar representing Something Haute at the revered red carpet, along with blogger Anusheh Shahid, Maroosha, Maha Rizvi from Mashion and Hijabi lifestyle influencer Bia Alina.

As fashion bloggers continue to dominate as powerful influences over consumers, Alkaram made the most of this fruitful strategy by collaborating with these top names of the styling and blogging world. This is a new way to connect your capsule and clothing lines with a number of followers within no time. It also presented an opportunity to Alkaram to not only build a partnership with the influencer, but through them to get engaged with their followers and audience.

Earlier, these five ladies hosted a bloggers meet-up to introduce Alkaram’s new Creative Director, Ather Hafeez. The intimate gathering also gave a sneak peek into Alkaram’s latest MakOKeeffe range designed under the supervision of Ather Hafeez. The design aesthetic is inspired by feminist Georgia O’ Keeffe’s paintings. The big reveal was followed by interesting quizzes with the media.

Later, Day Two of the FPW was pre-dominantly ruled by Alkaram influencers as the five girls owned the red carpet in customized Alkaram outfits. Clad in floor grazing couture to jumpsuits, fashionably fervent women looked like divas. The face of Alkaram, Ayeza Khan also stole the limelight dressed in a bespoke gown by Alkaram Studio. Model Roshanay looked ethereal exuding the timeless glamour of old Hollywood.

The glam quotient transported to the runway as well with models strutting on the ramp with Alkaram’s debut Mak O’ Keeffe collection. The contemporary designs, exaggerated cuts, playful accessories, edgy fashion and love of flare were a testament to homage for revolutionary feminist Georgia O’ Keeffe. The classy assortment was bold and fashion forward but with a touch of femininity and poise. Actress Noor Khan was the showstopper for the collection and the actress bedazzled the spectators in a floral gown.
